(Bittersweet) European night on two screens

Long weekend afternoon, without the World Cup, rain and rain, with double Real Madrid... the night invited to be watching two screens to enjoy.

However, the more minutes that pass since the end of the two games, the more stupid I feel.

Obviously it's basketball's fault, because of the feeling of déjà vu, of having experienced this before, of not understanding the lack of mischief, of being left with an empty light bulb.

Go winning by 4, seconds from the end, and go to overtime.

Half a minute left and repeat the end of the last Euroleague (this was reflected on this page). Are we not learning anything? If they are practically the same!

And with that disappointment... the Real Madrid FEM's thing has been tasting worse every time. Because I was happy, for being (1-1 against Chelsea) a step forward for the section. Get a point, finally, against one of the greatest teams nowadays. And that point could have been 3, but sometimes football is cruel. And that penalty, clumsy, so clumsy that it is in the fine line of "if you don't whistle it, nothing happens", it ends up inside with a rebound against Misa. Misa: nothing to reproach, because she saved the team again. And she almost took the penalty, obviously.

But then the basketball players come and they make our body angry. And you then remember missed opportunities. From Esther not passing the ball, from Athenea not finishing off her good plays, from Olga failing a one-on-one... she was so close! And you see more negative things than maybe you should. You see that there was a lot of reproach between the players, and you remember Toril -from the documentary- saying that on the field you have to die for your partner. And maybe something of that was missing.

The light also went out. We saw the objective so close that the goal was too small for us. Chelsea were deadly, and we were able to come away from today with a highly regarded first GREAT win. The "almost" every time sounds more bittersweet (and maybe it's not fair)
