Carlo and La Liga

The League returns. Blessed be the return of our Real Madrid.

Let's talk about the mister, who is in a bad moment. Touched by damn Covid19, recover soon Don Carlo (good luck to Davide, let's hope anyone leak the lineup, we want to see him in action with some autonomy). And touched Carlo too after the defeat against Barça, which revealed his lack of resources this season. I have sympathy with Carlo, although this year I have seen him especially overcomed. From his previous time I remember an anecdote. Driving through Madrid, a car paralleled me at the traffic light. It was Carlo. He looked at me, raised his eyebrow. Aware of the delay of the traffic light, he put on his glasses, took some papers and began to consult something. My brain interpreted it: he was analyzing tactics and strategies, even taking advantage of the traffic light seconds. Those were the years of "Carlo's Bridges" and that's how I remember it ever since.

What happened to the bridges, Carlo? The bridges or whatever. Something went wrong after Sheriff's day. That day we went to the low block, to CMK, to Asensio on the right (at first Carlo pretended  to reinvent Asensio as a kind of Modric or James in the middle).

We started to be predictable, to not have Plan B, to rotate little, to not give confidence, to leave a list of reviled people. We need to get our smile back, take off the handbrake, see again that Camavinga smile that rightly reminds us of the CM

The league is not won by Real Madrid yet. It is not being jinxed, it is pointing out that there is only one path: work, work and goals.

Carlo has been a coach since 1995. He knows more about football than me, than you who are reading this, than his son and almost everyone. 1213 matches says Wikipedia. This being true, it also says that he has won 4 leagues in all those years: two of them with Bayern and PSG, which is like passing Religion, you know what I mean.

He needs the fifth, which would be the first Spanish one and he could put it in his showcase along with the Italian, German, English and French ones. Our Carlo doesn't have a bad track record.

For this to success, the ghost of Queiroz, the memory of that infamous year, must be removed. We had much less middle class and the terrorist attack that shook Madrid and the whole country happened. It is not comparable.

Yes, it is similar the little use of revulsives. Camavinga, Ceballos, Mariano even (assuming that Jovic, Bale and Hazard have the club's negative). Lucas Vázquez entering the band positions and Marcelo with minutes when the matches are resolved. Valverde, of course. We have to rotate, Carlo. Or David.
