The God of football is capricious and you never know, but this Champions League is Karim Benzema's European Cup.

Karim has become the anthem of Real Madrid. A madridista listens to the lyrics and sees and feels the French saeta. He wears the shirt close to his heart, Karim touches the ball and you feel attacking your Madrid. Karim is fight, he is beauty and the cry that we learned.https://twitter.com/LigadeCampeones/status/1511789229650677771

Hala Madrid and nothing else, said Karim, bringing the rain over Stamford Bridge. Representing the historical beauty of our shield, what it means to be Real Madrid, the history what Karim Benzema dignifies. A game to cry with emotion. With the one Karim played against PSG, his last seasons, his historical journey... leave Karim Benzema at the gates not of the legend (he already is and indisputable) but of the Olympus of our historical line-up , which is a huge part of the history of football, very big words.

Carlo surprised us from the start by doing a bit of Zizou: Valverde started, supporting Carvajal on the right providing legs. The team felt it like ginseng and surely signed the best first half of the season. Just when it needed to be.

Real Madrid looked well established. This time Carlo's libretto give us fruit. Vinicius was the danger in the first minutes, and he was close to connecting the last touch that would lead the team to the goal.

In attack Vini and Karim. In the back we enjoy the peace of mind of having Thibaut, who easily stopped the shot from a prime dangerous free kick. It is important to review it, because we have won some Champions without a goalkeeper, that's how we are those of the round shield

The lame club that we were at this point last season entered the semifinals to compete. Real Madrid should never be underestimated and many Chelsea fans did so today, against all the logic of history. The Champions is hierarchy and the CMK are the current last masters of that work. Leaving the feeling that they should rotate much more in La Liga, a mistake of our latest coaches.

And suddenly Ngolo didn't follow Kroos. And Vini appeared and found Benzema, who in recent years has added a powerful and lethal header to all his amalgamation of skills. It was the first goal and it was the second almost in a row.

It rained, it rained, and it was rain of Madridistas tears of joy. Karim, the true ballon d'or, deserved a night like this. Another one, united to the last match against PSG. He deserves this Champions, he deserves to bear his name.

Havertz scored the 1-2 but Benzema would make soon 1-3. And not by accident. It's not a funny matter of fate that Karim makes goalkeepers so cloudy in his presence. Karim knows. He knows when to play like distracted and when to push. He knows when to measure and when to accelerate. He knows when to be with the sharp knife and when to put the toe.  Karius knows it, Donnaruma knows it and since today Mendy knows it too. But please, let no one attribute it to accident. Nothing in Karim is by accident, its work.

Benzema finished first half going into the break shaking his head, smiling at the same time, knowing that he would have another chance, because he had failed before the break at 1-3 due to a touch in his support.

Karim, that is the Real Madrid mentality: no one resists our desire to win. Benzema (I return to the beginning of the post) is an anthem and a shield. He deserves a UCL that bears his name and surnames.

Only one other name deserves a special mention (although the full team had a great match): Thibaut Courtois. Probably the best goalkeeper that Madrid has had that I remember. He only needs titles to be a historical legend. Differential once again

There was a final match: the one played with Lukaku coming on and Nacho entering for Militao. Chelsea had some good minutes there, saved when Casemiro went on to take care of the bBelgian beast to alleviate our lack of centimeters.

The game was over, you could hear and hear our fans. Bale and Ceballos had minutes, suggesting that although it is true that Wales/Betis-Golf/Twitter-Madrid -in that order- they should be necessary to help us to win the league.

Because for the Champions League we need those of today at 100% and after PSG and Chelsea, thinking that we can lift another Champions League is not spring madness.

Thanks for this match, guys.
