Thanks, Babs

Babett Peter has to play in a crowded Bernabéu. I entrust the task to Butragueño, Arbeloa or whoever leads the Corazon Classic Match, but that has to happen. A Real Madrid FEM's legend is leaving us for the first time and we have to be up to the task, even if it's in a few months or a few years. Peter deserves that applause from the temple of football

Once upon a time there was a magnificent soccer player... https://twitter.com/LaSantiaguinaRM/status/1521154929477435392

At the age of five, little Babett Peter suffered from peripheral cerebral palsy. Keep in mind that she was born in 1988, in the GDR. Nothing seems easy to her at the beginning, which is why she surely became a titan of the sport.

Now that she is retiring, she will do with 9 Bundesliga titles, 7 German Cups, 2 Olympic Medals: Gold and Bronze, 1 Champions League, 1 European Championship and 1 World Cup. There it is, Babs.

A medal is missing in this relationship: the one of work and humility, qualities that usually come hand in hand. They say that she is, if not the mother, at least the older sister of the team: work, professionalism, sobriety. The list of glowing comments she has received from colleagues since yesterday is endless.

Let's put the focus on that player who had won everything... she came to the TACON, the team that many wanted to laugh at, and for which we will always defend and vindicate here. We do it for the modest girls who raised him in category (Lorena, Malena, Samara, Esther...) and the signings (as Peter) that came and sustained TACON in a year as difficult as that first one

Thanks for that Babs.

Now it's time to continue being the best mother, among other tasks that you want to put on https://twitter.com/peterbabett/status/1521082114220953600

When Ada Hegeberg said that there was women's football before Barça, she was probably thinking of herself, but I can't stop thinking of Babs: a pioneer of Real Madrid FEM, who pioneered everything in her life, from the fight against paralysis, to play football in that Germany, to win everything, to be the most humble and hard-working, to form a family. < p style="text-align: justify;">And one last certainty: she will still give it her all until the last minute of this season.
