The nefarious communication policy of Real Madrid

Real Madrid's nefarious communication policy has been exposed for the umpteenth time with Pablo Laso's horrific departure from basketball. But unfortunately it is just one more of the execrable examples that we are experiencing. Without being exhaustive... from presenting the Superliga (something so crucial and strategic) in Pedrerol to having a women's section stopped and not sell product for a month, pissing off the still tender social mass. It remained to screw it in basketball. And ... what a day, huh!

Such a good year for the club, with the European Cup, with another almost, with two beautiful and resounding leagues in football and basketball, and even managing to enter the women's UWCL again with a comeback... it has been communicatively thrown in the trash in a month with a disastrous, abominable, execrable, infamous and even perverse policy of communication.

They are not up to the club, which is a multi-million euro company. So, so far from the greatness of Real Madrid!

You have to know how to handle crises, first... anticipating them. The club should have foreseen, because of how the negotiations were going, that the Laso thing could go wrong. And Laso is not just anyone, no, damn it. He is an institution of this club, as a player and a coach. One of the biggest. It cannot go wrong, with a statement in the afternoon after hours of media and public bloodshed.

First failure, then, the lack of anticipation.

Second failure, the same as always: interested leaks to the media that no longer have any credibility.

Of all the ways the situation could be taken, the worst and most cowardly has been chosen.

Florentino: we are talking about Pablo Laso. He has suffered a heart attack. Even (without having the small details) it is probable that the club is right not letting him continue. But how you do the things is important, once again. Laso deserved better.

What horror, what immense horror is the communication policy of this club.
