The year of the 14ª: The lucky team

Real Madrid is a lucky team.

RM has won Champions League because the virgin has appeared to Courtois (even an Atletico Fem soccer player blamed him for not having stopped in the same way when he was at Manzanares). And RM won because the team didn't propose, RM only defends and take advantage of a counterattack...

Obviously in these funny analyses, they always forget the disallowed goal just before the break, but that's another matter.

First a simple and basic idea, which I think almost anyone can understand: if Madrid has the best goalkeeper in the world (Thibaut), the best 9 in the world (Karim) and the best midfielder of the decade (Modric)... we could add the best young South American talent (Vinicius)... only for that it could be said that lifting another European Cup is no coincidence.

The fundamental thing is that we live phenomenally in this eternal contempt.

There are two failures in these days match analysis, one by default and one by excess.

The failure by default is the one promoted by TV shows like the Chiringuito on the one hand and ESPN on the other. That television shows that only seek an easy connection with the viewer, emotions... the party is not seriously analyzed. And also there are the Pro-Barcelona or anti-Madrid agents, who will never give credit to Real Madrid: we will always have won by luck.

That's the first thing.

And the second thin is the analysis in excess. Those experts in big data, board analysis, squares, who trust everything to numbers. It's what makes you end up signing Chygrynskyi. Not understanding that not everything is numbers, not everything is moneyball in this sport.

Those people do not understand the magic of the Bernabéu. They are incapable of putting faith, the pressure of the environment, trust, into their equations. And they fail, of course. And when Madrid wins, their schemes are exploited... but their anti-Madridism (generally) prevents them from understanding what leads them to error.

I conclude: Real Madrid has won the league and won the Champions League, a rare double success for our club.
