Vindication of TACON

Trabajo, Atrevimiento, Conocimiento, Organización y Notoriedad: TACON (HEEL)

TACON means Work, Boldness, Knowledge, Organization and Notoriety.

T (for Work): It is said of the effort that must be made to found a club, reach agreements, provide it with a good sports structure, make it competitive and take it to the First Division of Spanish women's football. A feat, in just five years, that needed all the parts of the structure at full capacity: the soccer players achieving the goal on the field, the technical team that gave support and tactics to that effort, and the manager, essential although less visible.

A (for Boldness): Action and effect of daring, committing to some risky act, being insolent, competing, rivaling. trust someone. The team dignified all meanings, trusting and being trusted.

C (for Knowledge): Intelligence, to find faults and not give up. Natural reason: Real Madrid needed a women's soccer team. No girl from an early age, ever again, will be separated from her dream of playing for Real Madrid.

O (for Organization): Ana Rosell's upstairs on the invisible keys. David Aznar (we have to recover his figure, he's part of the history of the club) in the technical direction. The most emotional part is the personal one: presenting the players, young, tenacious, with moving family stories (it's hard to hold back tears with Esther Martín-Pozuelo's grandfather). You get the TACON feeling.

That is why this vindication is necessary, and with this text I wanted to present the first signature of the section that we will dedicate to Real Madrid Women.

Even today, in the spirit of disrespect, when Real Madrid plays, the disparagement of "Today we play against TACON" is heard. Yes, proudly. Real Madrid was born from TACON, in a beautiful story that will always have to be vindicated.
