(Women's) SuperLeague or barbarism

Women's football needs a jump, and that jump can be made by the Super League. Because the current UWCL is far from being a competition that can attract masses. The growth margin is very high, because women's football is very far from reaching a ceiling. It will grow much more. But let's review what Real Madrid has to do, as third in the spanish league, to play in the Champions group stage.
First there is a mini-tournament, with a draw in June and matches in mid-August. We will play as third classified from one of the six best countries. 59 teams compete that phase, 16 of them on our side, among which will be Manchester City, Eintracht Frankfurt, Roma. It is a tournament: because semifinal and final are played, so only 4 will remain out of 16. A massacre.
Those 4 teams that survive continue through the League Path to join another six strong teams, where Real Sociedad, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, possibly PSG are already. It is played a month later (let's see those physical preparations), in September. And of all those teams 5 pass, finally.
As madridistas know from this year, the UWCL is played -the group stage- only by 16 teams. Some of them are far from the level necessary for such a competition. Meanwhile, the absences (British, French, German, Spanish clubs) are painful.
It is very interesting to ask for the equal pay, for example, but first you have to make attractive competitions to get sponsors, audience, relevance, money. The road ahead is very long, but of course it does not go through what UEFA proposes.
And besides... this is what it is. There is no Europa League or Conference here, this is what it is. Well, what there is... it can't be.
Florentino, do something around here too.
